Kitchen Redesign Project 2

Kitchen Renovation Before Pictures

Project renderingThis kitchen was a challenge because it is a 1920’s house and the kitchen needed to reflect this age and charm of the original home. We were given carte blanche to do a design to reflect this.

The old kitchen was removed, the stairway was relocated and a new functional kitchen was designed incorporating food storage, cook zone and 2 prep spaces.

The cabinets are maple shaker with bevelled glass corner door complete with dovetail draws. Also new to the kitchen are granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and flooring.

Everyone entering their new kitchen is amazed by the sleek efficiency and functional space compared to what was there.

Kitchen Renovation After Photo

When first moving into our 1929 character house in Oak Bay we were completely overwhelmed with all that would have to be done to make our old out-dated kitchen, bathroom and laundry area both functional and attractive. I was in tears at the prospect and could not even envision where to begin. But when Maeghi and Jan arrived their professionalism and confidence in the task ahead immediately put us at ease, especially when after only a few moments Maeghi showed us some sketches and assured us ‘Designs by Maejic”’ could achieve what we believed was next-to-impossible. As you can see the results were indeed ‘maegnificent’ and we cannot say enough about this team of designers. The cabinetry for both the kitchen and main bath was phenomenal, arrived on time and installed impeccably. We would not hesitate to recommend ‘Designs by Maejic’ to anyone who is either planning a new kitchen or re-doing their old kitchen, bathroom or laundry room. Thanks Maeghi and Jan for the ‘maejic’ you brought into our home.
